My 2015 Ford F-350 with 6.7 diesel, Platinum exceeds all of my transportation requirements. Here in the mountains and deserts of the southwest, I've found this vehicle to be more than capable. Before I made this particular truck purchase, I had evaluated " The other two competitors" . You know, Chevy and Dodge. I began my initial truck search during one week of an Arizona desert summer. Temperatures were 110F+ . During the hottest part of the day, I visited the three truck dealers and asked to be shown their respective one ton diesel trucks. At each vehicle, I started the engines and turned the air conditioner up full. I was testing to see how fast a cab interior would go from a sweltering 124F to comfortable. The Ford 2015 F-6.7 diesel, crew cab was the winner, hands down. To be fair, I do own a fully restored 1946 Ford truck.. Maybe Chevy lovers can come up with a reason to own a one ton Chevy truck....Good luck.
