Description of Recall: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, 2022 Jeep Wagoneer, and Grand Wagoneer vehicles. The Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) may have incorrect software which can disable the driver, passenger, and knee air bags without warning.
Conequence: Disabled air bags can increase the risk of injury to occupants in a crash.
Action Need To Fix It: Dealers will reprogram the ORC, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 30, 2021. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is Y79.

Description of Recall: Tesla, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Model Y vehicles. The front and rear suspension knuckles may fracture, causing the suspension links to separate.
Conequence: Suspension links that separate can reduce vehicle stability and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Description of Recall: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2021 Range Rover, 2022 Range Rover Sport, 2020-2021 Range Rover Velar, Discovery Sport, 2020-2022 Discovery, and Defender vehicles. The seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly.
Conequence: An unsecured child restraint system can increase the risk of injury during a crash.

Description of Recall: General Motors, LLC. (GM) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Buick Encore GX and 2021-2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer vehicles. The emergency jack, if not positioned as directed in the vehicle owner's manual, can fracture while in use.
Conequence: A fractured jack can cause the vehicle to collapse, increasing the risk of injury.
Action Need To Fix It: Dealers will replace the jack, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters informing owner of the safety risk are expected to be mailed July 26, 2021. Description of Recall: General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV and 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV vehicles. The high voltage battery could catch fire when charged to full or nearly full capacity.
Conequence: A battery fire increases the risk of injury.
Action Need To Fix It: Defective battery modules will be replaced by GM, free of charge. Owners are advised to take the following interim steps: Set the Target Charge Level feature in their vehicle to limit the charge level to 90%, charge their vehicle more frequently, avoid depleting the battery to 70 miles range remaining, park outside after charging, and do not charge the vehicle indoors overnight. Interim notification letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed September 10, 2021. Owner notification letters were mailed on October 1, 2021. Description of Recall: Daimler Trucks North America, LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Freightliner 114SD, 122SD, Business Class M2, Cascadia, 108SD, Western Star 4900, 4700, 5700, Custom Chass RV Chassis, Custom Chass S2 Chassis, Custom Chass XC Chassis, Custom Chass XB Chassis, and Custom Chass MT Chassis. The tie rod clamps may be loose, which could result in loose tie rod ends that could break or detach.
Conequence: Detached or broken tie rod ends can result in steering loss, increasing the risk of a crash.

Conequence: An oil leak may cause a sudden loss of power steering assist, increasing the risk of a crash.

The seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Conequence: An unsecured child restraint system can increase the risk of injury during a crash.

Conequence: A fuel leak may cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash. A fuel leak also increases the risk of fire in the presence of an ignition source.

The work brake (winch brake) may unintentionally disengage the service brakes during winching operations, causing the vehicle to roll.
