Description of Recall: THE ANCHOR END OF THE SAFETY BELT BUCKLE WAS INCORRECTLY LOCATED, CAUSING THE UPPER TORSO RESTRAINT TO BE IMPROPERLY POSITIONED.

Conequence: IMPROPER LOCATION OF THE UPPER TORSO RESTRAINT RESULTS IN REDUCED SEAT OCCUPANT PROTECTION IN THE EVENT OF A SUDDEN STOP OR CRASH.

Action Need To Fix It: DEALERS WILL REINSTALL THE SEAT BUCKLE ANCHOR TO PROPERLY POSITION THE SEAT AND UPPER TORSO RESTRAINTS.

Description of Recall: THESE TRUCKS DO NOT HAVE THE PROPER CUTOUT IN THE FRONT DROP RAIL SECTION OF THE FRAME RAIL. WITHOUT THE PROPER CUTOUT, THE STEERING DRIVELINE GREASE FITTING WILL INTERFERE WITH THE FLANGE OF THE CHASSIS RAIL.

Conequence: STEERING DRIVELINE INTERFERENCE WOULD PREVENT PROPERSTEERING CONTROL. THE CONDITION CAN RESULT IN LOSS OF STEERING CAPABILITY.

Action Need To Fix It: DEALERS WILL INSPECT FOR PROPER CUTOUT AND ADEQUATE CLEARANCE WITH THE GREASE FITTING. IF ADEQUATE CLEARANCE DOES NOT EXIST, A CUTOUT WILL BE ADDED TO THE DROP RAIL.
