2015 THOR FOUR WINDS SIESTA Recall

Description of Recall: Thor Motor Coach (Thor) is recalling certain model year 2015 Four Winds 5000, Hurricane, Miramar, Chateau Citation, Chateau, Four Winds Siesta, Windsport, and Freedom Elite motorhomes manufactured August 7, 2014, to October 17, 2014. The affected motorhomes have awnings whose mounting brackets may crack, and the awnings may fall.

Conequence: If an awning falls, there is an increased risk of injury to anyone under the awning.

Action Need To Fix It: Thor has notified owners, and dealers will replace the defective mounting brackets, free of charge. The recall began on November 10, 2014. Owners may contact Thor customer service at 1-877-855-2867. Thor's number for this recall is RC000095.
