POSSIBILITY THAT ANCHOR HOLDING ACCELERATOR RETURNSPRING TO ENGINE MAY BE IMPROPERLY ALIGNED, CAUSING RETURN SPRING TO EVENTUALLYWEAR AND BREAK. IF SPRING BREAKS, WOULD ALLOW THROTTLE TO OPEN WITHOUT FOOTPRESSURE ON ACCELERATOR PEDAL. (CORRECT BY INSPECTING, REALIGNING BRACKET ANDINSTALLING NEW SPRING. )

LOSS OF THESE PINS COULDALLOW AXLE TO SLIP OUT OF POSITION AND RESULT IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL.(CORRECT BY WELDING PIN TO SPRING HANGER BRACKET WHERE NECESSARY.)

Notes: POSSIBILITY THAT EQUALIZER BEAM ATTACHING BOLTS WERE OF AN INCORRECT LENGTH.IF THIS CONDITION EXISTS BOLTS MAY LOOSEN AND FALL OUT RESULTING IN LOSS OFVEHICLE CONTROL CAUSED BY SHIFTING OF THE REAR AXLE. (CORRECT BY REPLACINGWITH LONGER BOLTS WHERE NECESSARY.)
