Description of Recall: THE SERVICE BRAKES MAY NOT RELEASE WITHIN 0.55 SECONDS, AS REQUIRED BY FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS".
Conequence:
Action Need To Fix It: DEALER WILL INSTALL A QUICK RELEASE VALVE IN THE TRAILER SERVICE BRAKE LINE, WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.
Notes: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRUCK TRACTORS.SYSTEM: SERVICE BRAKES; RELEASE TIME.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: BRAKING FUNCTIONS THAT FAIL TO RESPOND AS QUICKLY ASREQUIRED CREATE AN UNSAFE CONDITION THAT COULD CONTRIBUTE TO A VEHICLEACCIDENT.

Description of Recall: THE INVOLVED VEHICLES HAVE TORQUE REACTION LEAVES WHICH ARE SEPARATED ON ONE SIDE OF THE REAR SUSPENSION. UNDER SEVERE CONDITIONS THIS SEPARATED TORQUE REACTION LEAF WILL OVERSTRESS THE REACTION LEAF ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE REAR SUSPENSION.
Conequence:
Action Need To Fix It: DEALER WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE LEFT AND RIGHT TORQUE REACTION LEAVES WITH MODIFIED DESIGN LEAVES AT NO COST TO OWNER.
Notes: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRUCKS & TRUCK TRACTORS.SYSTEM: SUSPENSION; TORQUE REACTION LEAF.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: IF THIS CONDITION EXISTS, CONTINUED OPERATION COULDCAUSE THE REMAINING TORQUE REACTION LEAF TO DETERIORATE. THIS COULD LEAD TODEFLECTION OF THE REAR AXLE, POSSIBLY RESULTING IN LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL ANDAN ACCIDENT.
