Description of Recall: WINDSHIELDS MAY HAVE BEEN INSTALLED ON THESE VEHICLES WITHOUT THE APPLICATION OF A BUTYL PRIMER ON THE MOUNTING SURFACE OF THE GLAZING. THE PRIMER IS REQUIRED TO ENSURE ADEQUATE RETENTION OF THE WINDSHIELD TO ITS OPENING FLANGE. THIS CONSTITUTES A NON-COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 212, "WINDSHIELD MOUNTING".
Conequence:
Action Need To Fix It: DEALER WILL REINSTALL THE WINDSHIELD CORRECTLY WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.
Notes: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES.SYSTEM: VISUAL; WINDSHIELD RETENTION.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT, THE WINDSHIELD MAY BECOMEDISPLACED AND THE CHANCES OF PASSENGER INJURY WOULD BE INCREASED.

Action Need To Fix It: FAN ASSEMBLY WILL BE REPLACED WITHOUT CHARGE.
Notes: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 250, 302, 351 OR 400 CIDENGINES AND AIR CONDITIONING.SYSTEM: ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; FANS.CONSEQUENCES OF DEFECT: BLADE PIECES MAY DAMAGE COMPONENTS UNDER THE HOOD. IFHOOD IS OPENED WHILE ENGINE IS OPERATING, PERSONS STANDING NEARBY MAY BEINJURED IF THE FAN BREAKS.NOTE: IMPENDING BLADE FAILURE MAY BE EVIDENCED BY RATTLING OR VIBRATION.
