2014 JAYCO WHITE HAWK Recalls

Date Announced: 06/04/2013
Description of Recall: Jayco is recalling certain model year 2014 White Hawk travel trailers manufactured May 17, 2013, through May 21, 2013. The A/C to D/C converter may not be properly grounded to the frame.
Conequence: If the converter is not properly grounded to the frame, there may be an excessive buildup of heat and melting of the wiring, possibly resulting in a fire.
Action Need To Fix It: Jayco will notify owners and dealers will inspect the wiring for the converter. If needed, they will add the provided ground wire, free of charge. The recall began on June 21, 2013. Owners may contact Jayco at 1-800-283-8267.

Description of Recall: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 White Hawk Summit 27RBOK travel trailers manufactured November 12, 2013, through July 10, 2014. One of the tires may rub against the outrigger while making sharp turns.
Conequence: A tire that rubs against the outrigger may result in premature wear of the tire or tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
Action Need To Fix It: Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the outrigger and position it correctly if necessary, free of charge. The recall began in September 2014. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.
