2015 AEV TRAUMAHAWK Recall

Item Affected: BACK OVER PREVENTION: CAMERA SYSTEM

Description of Recall: Halcore Group, Inc. (Halcore) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 American Emergency Vehicles (AEV) Trauma Hawk emergency vehicles manufactured from December 1, 2014, through June 30, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with a back up camera system which may display images from the camera in reverse.

Conequence: If an object or person are on the left side of the screen but are actually on the right side of the vehicle, or vice versa, there is an increased risk of a crash.

Action Need To Fix It: Halcore will notify owners, and dealers will work with ASA Electronics to replace any camera that is not displaying the correct images. The recall began on September 11, 2015.
